The Greenbrier Wolfpack had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to Jenkins for the full four quarters, racking up a 84-53 win at home. That looming 84-53 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Greenbrier yet this season.
Jackson Jennings was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Parada, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Greenbrier's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Jenkins, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenbrier will take on Statesboro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Statesboro will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Greenbrier surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jenkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bradwell Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jenkins is coming into the match with four straight losses at home, so Bradwell Institute is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
