Cedar's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dixie Flyers. The Reds haven't had any issues with the Flyers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Cedar had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.

Cedar was led to victory by Nathan Guzman and Wiley Gunn. Guzman had 15 digs and two aces, while Gunn had 13 digs, seven kills, and five aces. That's the most aces Gunn has posted since back in March of 2024.

Cedar's record is now 6-9. As for Dixie, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Cedar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pine View on the 1st. As for Dixie, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Crimson Cliffs on the 1st.
