After flying high against Glenbard West on Friday, Lyons came back down to earth. The matchup between the Lyons Lions and the Oak Lawn Spartans didn't end well, with the Lyons Lions falling 55-37. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lyons now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Oak Lawn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Lyons will take on St. Laurence in a tournament on Thursday. As for Oak Lawn, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lake Park at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Lawn knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Lake Park likes a good challenge.
