If Lejeune wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dixon, they should've done a better job of containing Lily Borden. The Bulldogs took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 56-25 win over the Devilpups with plenty of help from Borden, who went 12-for-20 en route to 25 points along with six steals and five boards. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Dixon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dixon is headed away from home for the first time to take on Heide Trask at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lejeune, they will face off against Swansboro at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
