Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maysville). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gallatin Bulldogs a 16-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wolverines with their most commanding win of the season.

Maysville's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Maysville has already played their next match, a 7-4 victory against Lawson on the 1st. As for Gallatin, they will head out on the road to take on Marceline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
