They strolled past Floyd Central with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 61-47. This was payback for Magoffin County, who suffered a 76-61 loss the last time these two teams met.
Floyd Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Chris Spriggs, who scored 12 points, and Ronnie Samons who scored 13 points.
Magoffin County pushed their record up to 9-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Floyd Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
