Football Recap: Windsor Central Piles Up the Points Against Whitney Point

Windsor Central's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed past the Whitney Point Eagles to the tune of 50-20. The Black Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Windsor Central, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tyson Schmitt, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The victory got Windsor Central back to even at 2-2. As for Whitney Point, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Central will take on Johnson City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitney Point, they will square off against Susquehanna Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
