Wolcott had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Derby Red Raiders 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Wolcott never let Derby on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21, 25-22.
