After soaring high against Rocky Boy last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Saturday. Simms found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-36 punch to the gut against Centerville. If Simms were hoping to take revenge for the 12-64 loss against Centerville the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Simms' record to 2-1. The win bumped Centerville's record up to 3-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. In two weeks Simms take on Fort Benton at Senior Night at 7:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. As for Centerville, they will face off against Chinook. Chinook will need to watch out since Chinook have now posted big point totals in their last 3 contests.
