After losing to the Bridgman Bees the last time they met, the Parchment Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Parchment had just enough and edged out Bridgman 36-32. That was the first win for the Panthers since their victory over the Bees when the two teams previously met in February of last year.
Parchment's win brought them up to 1-18. Bridgman's defeat pushed them down to 4-14.
Parchment will take on Brandywine next week. Parchment isn't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them this last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve. As for Bridgman, they will face off against New Buffalo on Tuesday. The Bees are at home for the contest, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
