The Phil Campbell Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Colbert Heights Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Phil Campbell has four straight wins, Colbert Heights has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Phil Campbell posted their biggest win since November 27, 2023 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Vina 62-34 at home.
Colbert Heights might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 41-34 to Danville, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Phil Campbell's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Colbert Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Everything went Phil Campbell's way against Colbert Heights in their previous meeting back in January of 2020 as Phil Campbell made off with a 44-19 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Phil Campbell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
