The Atlantic City Vikings will be playing at home against the Pleasantville Greyhounds at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Atlantic City will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Atlantic City didn't have too much trouble with the Blue Devils at home as they won 60-46.
Atlantic City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khajuan Roseborough led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Roseborough is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Finks, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Pleasantville came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday and fell 62-50. While losing is never fun, Pleasantville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Tigers are ranked 98th).
Atlantic City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Pleasantville, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Atlantic City and the Greyhounds were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but the Vikings came up empty-handed after a 54-53 loss. Can Atlantic City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
