Lewisburg won the last time it faced Manassas, and things went their way on Friday, too. Lewisburg took their game against Manassas by a conclusive 40-13 score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-0.
No one had a larger role in the success than junior Cameron Threatt, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns. This was the first game for both teams, giving Lewisburg a 1-0 record and starting Manassas off at 0-1.
Next week, Lewisburg take on Hardin County at Hardin County High School at 7:00 PM. As for Manassas, they will face of against Mitchell.
