There's no place like home for Chenango Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Sunday. Everything went their way against the Owego Free Academy River Hawks on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Chenango Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makenzi Reinhard, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Megan Butch also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Chenango Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Owego Free Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Chenango Valley nor Owego Free Academy have any future games scheduled.
