They walked away with a 63-56 victory over Tuscaloosa Home Educators. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Greyson Boyd was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Knox Cooper, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Tuscaloosa Home Educators still got an impressive performance from Jose Giron, who scored 31 points. Giron scored a full 55.4% of Tuscaloosa Home Educators' points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. John Barrett Mancil was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
East Central HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
