After four games on the road, Phoenix Military is heading back home. They will take on the Clemente Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Phoenix Military, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 80-65 loss to Chicago Tech.
Meanwhile, Clemente waltzed into their match on Friday with 12 straight wins but they left with 13. They walked away with a 73-64 win over Little Village. That's two games straight that Clemente has won by exactly nine points.
Phoenix Military's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Clemente, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
Phoenix Military didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Clemente in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. Will Phoenix Military repeat their success, or does Clemente have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
