The Village School of Naples has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Naples Classical scored an imposing 67 points on Tuesday, The Village School of Naples still came out on top. The Village School of Naples took their match against the Academy 76-67. That's two games straight that The Village School of Naples has won by exactly nine points.
Meanwhile, Donahue Catholic didn't have too much trouble with the at home on Tuesday as they won 68-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Donahue Catholic.
Erling Berg and Isaac Loboda were among the main playmakers for Donahue Catholic as the former almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists and the latter scored 32 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Loboda has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Kadlec, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
The Village School of Naples' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points per game. As for Donahue Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
