Volleyball Recap: Nickerson Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Nickerson won the last time they faced Kingman and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Nickerson never let Kingman on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Delaney Childs paced Nickerson's offense, picking up ten kills. Childs got some help from Denae Engelland and her 16 assists. Montana Peterson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nickerson's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Kingman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Nickerson will be playing at home against Halstead on Tuesday. As for Kingman, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. John on the 18th.
