The Beacon Hill Gryphon will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Nordhoff Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Beacon Hill has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
Beacon Hill suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Thursday. They were outmatched by Hillcrest Christian at home and fell 78-45. Beacon Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.
Meanwhile, Nordhoff came up short against Fillmore on Thursday and fell 46-39.
Beacon Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Nordhoff, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
Beacon Hill couldn't quite finish off Nordhoff when the teams last played back in December of 2019 and fell 50-48. Thankfully for Beacon Hill, Chase Plott (who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and five steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
