Graden Buckhanan Goes Supernova in Gunnison Victory
Thanks in part to Graden Buckhanan, Gunnison said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Buckhanan on Friday as he rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 96-yard run.
Buckhanan and Gunnison will venture away from home to challenge Bayfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will pit Buckhanan up against the Wolverines' star RB Lincoln Williams. Will the match be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Colby Mcmillian Has Career Rushing Day
Colby Mcmillian posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
The victory (which was Montezuma-Cortez's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mcmillian and Montezuma-Cortez will venture away from home to square off against Pagosa Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Creede Dozier Delivers Electric Performance Vs Gunnison
Pagosa Springs was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Creede Dozier did his best to prevent it. Dozier was unstoppable, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 74 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
For the year, Dozier has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 80.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 21.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 73.86 rushing yards.
