After soaring to 56 points the game before, Cloudcroft faltered in their contest on Friday. They were given a punishing 0-38 loss at the hands of Hagerman. The state rankings had actually given Cloudcroft a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Cloudcroft's record to 3-2. The win bumped Hagerman's record up to 3-2.
Cloudcroft will stay at home next week against Estancia at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Hagerman, they will face off against Tularosa. Tularosa took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Hagerman's good fortune.
