The Faith Christian Academy Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 26 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 66-40 margin over Omaha R. 66 seems to be a good number for Faith Christian Academy as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Faith Christian Academy was led to victory by Max McMillen and John Schleeter. McMillen scored 14 points, while Schleeter scored 19 points along with five steals. Schleeter is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Josiah Dull was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Despite the defeat, Omaha R saw an underclassman step up: Stephen Vankat scored 24 points along with four steals. Vankat scored a full 60% of Omaha R's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Faith Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Omaha R, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Veritas Christian the next time they take the court. Omaha R will head out to face Veritas Christian at TBD on Saturday, while Faith Christian Academy will head out to face them at TBD on Saturday.
