It's playoff time, and Reed-Custer had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers by a score of 51-42 on Thursday. The Comets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leah Grace had an outrageously good game as she went 7-for-16 to rack up 23 points and six boards. Those 23 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gwen Stewart, who posted seven points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

The victory got Reed-Custer back to even at 15-15. As for Joliet Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-26 record this season.

Reed-Custer will challenge Watseka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reed-Custer will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Joliet Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
