The Galloway Scots's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 68-37 win over Atlanta International. That 31 points margin sets a new team best for Galloway this season.
Galloway got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vaughn Murphy out in front who scored 18 points along with three steals. Ryan Levin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and four steals.
Galloway's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Atlanta International, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galloway will take on King's Ridge Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. King's Ridge Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Galloway likes a good challenge. As for Atlanta International, they will be playing at home against Paideia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paideia presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Atlanta International in Georgia (Paideia is ranked 214th, while Atlanta International is ranked 533rd).
