The St. Teresa's Catholic Crusaders were the 46-44 winner over the Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. St. Teresa's Catholic fell to Colquitt Christian Academy 48-43.
St. Teresa's Catholic lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dyland Rangel, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eddie Thomas, who scored 13 points.
St. Teresa's Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Colquitt Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Teresa's Catholic will take on First Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Colquitt Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Byne Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
