Even though Wilmot has not done well against Langford recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wilmot blew past Langford 59-35. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Wilmot has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Ipswich came up short against Waubay/Summit on Tuesday and fell 46-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ipswich has scored all season.
The victory makes it two in a row for Wilmot and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Ipswich, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Wilmot suffered a grim 56-33 defeat to Ipswich in their previous meeting back in January. Can Wilmot avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
