The College View Academy Eagles's game on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against Cedar Bluffs by a score of 38-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as College View Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camden Patyk, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals. Patyk scored a full 26.7% of Cedar Bluffs' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jacob Ishmiel was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 rebounds.
College View Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Cedar Bluffs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
College View Academy will head out on the road to face off against Lewiston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lewiston focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday. As for Cedar Bluffs, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Shelby-Rising City.
