Last Friday, Clover Park was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 38-37 to Fife. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clover Park has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kamila Salanoa, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Andralynne Harless, who scored six points along with 16 rebounds.
While Franklin Pierce couldn't quite beat Foss on Friday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 30-point loss they were dealt last Friday. Franklin Pierce fell just short of Foss by a score of 31-29.
Clover Park's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Franklin Pierce, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Everything came up roses for Clover Park against Franklin Pierce when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 55-15 victory. Will Clover Park repeat their success, or does Franklin Pierce have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
