Edison has won three straight games at home, while Seguin has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Golden Bears will welcome the Matadors at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Edison 2.4, Seguin 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Last Friday, Edison was able to grind out a solid win over Burbank, taking the game 6-2.

Samaad Bunch was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played. Hector Narvaez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, Seguin made easy work of Brackenridge on Friday and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Matadors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by nine runs or more this season.
Seguin let Kevin Lingueno and Corey Dailey run wild. Lingueno scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Dailey went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That home run was Dailey's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Welfel, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Seguin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brackenridge only posted an OBP of .333.
Seguin is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Edison couldn't quite finish off Seguin in their previous matchup back in March and fell 10-8. Will the Golden Bears have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
