The Worthing Colts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Furr at home to the tune of 73-29. Worthing has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Several Brahmans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savanah Corvera, who scored 14 points.
Worthing is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for Furr, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Worthing will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. Furr is on the road again on Saturday and plays the Spartans at 11:30 a.m. on February 3rd. Scarborough comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
