The Christel House Eagles will venture away from home to  take on the University Trailblazers  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
Christel House came up short against  Lawrence North on Wednesday, falling  3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 Christel House was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lawrence North work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25,  25-14.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Steven Alvarado, who  had eight  digs and two  aces. Another player making a difference was  Kevin Cruz Vera, who  had nine  digs and four  blocks.
Meanwhile, University gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Traders Point Christian with a sharp  3-0 victory.
 University never let Traders Point Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10,  26-24.
 Christel House's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
