Mingo Central had a senior duo take command as Addie Smith went 9 for 14 on her way to 24 points in addition to eight assists and five steals and Bella Hall went 9 of 16 en route to 19 points along with eight steals and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of DaLaney Grimmett, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 16 points.
Mingo Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Summers County couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 66-27 blowout they got against WestSide.
