For the second straight game, Pac-Five will face off against Sacred Hearts Academy. The home team had won the previous four meetings between Pac-Five and Sacred Hearts Academy, and Pac-Five kept the tradition alive. Pac-Five was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .419 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Pac-Five's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 10 runs thus far. As for Sacred Hearts Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Sacred Hearts Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pac-Five has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .579.
