Port Angeles is 9-1 against Olympic since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Port Angeles will welcome Olympic at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Port Angeles is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Bainbridge get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Monday. The Roughriders haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Olympic had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 8-4.

Brenda Morrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6 strikeouts per game.

On the hitting side, Evee Abbay was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Beya Richmond, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Abbay wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Olympic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matches.

Port Angeles pushed their record up to 4-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Olympic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Port Angeles beat Olympic 4-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will Port Angeles repeat their success, or does Olympic has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
