Kryshtalowych has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Jennings, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Westminster Schools of Augusta put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Andrew's as Westminster Schools of Augusta made off with a 53-31 win. The win was familiar territory for Westminster Schools of Augusta who now have three in a row.
Westminster Schools of Augusta's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was India Williams, who scored 25 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Westminster Schools of Augusta's points. Another player making a difference was Aimee Spurlock, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Fox Creek's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Fox Creek have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 32.4 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Westminster Schools of Augusta, though, as they've been averaging only 37.5 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
