Cross County had a rough outing against Earle last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Cross County took their match against Marked Tree on Friday 34-21. Marked Tree can consider this payback for the 24-32 defeat they dealt Cross County the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win got Cross County back to even at 2-2. Marked Tree are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Cross County take on Bearden at Stuttgart at 7:00 PM. Cross County will be strutting in after a victory while Bearden will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Marked Tree, they will face off against McCrory. Marked Tree stagger into the game hobbled by four consecutive losses while McCrory skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
