Wharton won the last time they faced Needville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wharton Tigers put the hurt on the Needville Bluejays with a sharp 62-38 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 24 points or more this season.
Wharton had a senior duo take command as Jacoryan Dickerson dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds and Keilon Jackson went 7 for 13 on his way to 18 points and three steals. That's the most points Jackson has posted since back in November of 2024. Ja'Keon Jackson was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.
Wharton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
