The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mercer in their matchups with Greenville: they've now lost three in a row.
 Lakeview now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mercer, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
Mercer's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Lakeview hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .364. It's a different story for Mercer, though, as  they've  only  averaged .210. Will they be able to contain Lakeview's hitters?
