Bowie won against Akins last Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Eagles. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Bowie's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Akins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
