Gholson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Harmony School of Innovation 60-12 at home. With Gholson ahead 34-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Gholson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lane Kunkel led the charge by scoring 17 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Kunkel has scored at least 25% of Gholson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Thomas, who scored 12 points.
Gholson pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.33 points. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Gholson will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Covington at 7:30 p.m. Covington will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Harmony School of Innovation will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Texas Wind at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
