Camden Central have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they will take on Sycamore at 7:30 PM. Camden Central will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Camden Central got themselves on the board against Westview two weeks ago, but Westview never followed suit. Camden Central took the game and then some with a 42-0 win over Westview. Followers of Camden Central probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Sycamore, and their matchup two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to three. They have to be aching after a bruising 7-32 defeat to Creek Wood. The state rankings had actually given Sycamore a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
