Fresno Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Orcutt Academy, who was ranked 20th at the time (Fresno Christian was ranked fourth). The Eagles took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 56-26 victory over the Spartans. Considering the Eagles have won seven games by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Fresno Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tycen Ramirez out in front who threw for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Ramirez has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Alex Asatrian helped Ramirez out on the ground, rushing for 55 yards and one score on only five carries, while also picking up 42 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Fresno Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dominic Ramirez and Levi Eurich. Ramirez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 63 points the game before, Hesperia Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 64-6 loss at the hands of California School for the Deaf-Riverside. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.
Fresno Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points over those games. As for Hesperia Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
