Jelani Dippel produced another solid effort throwing for 426 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 62 yards and one TD. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in August of 2024. Titus Thomas did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 121 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Clovis West made easy work of Buchanan on Friday and carried off a 29-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Clovis West's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Central East, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-1.
Central East strolled past Clovis West in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 45-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
