Beauregard's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kam Torbert led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven steals. Torbert continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cooper Watson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Beauregard's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Notasulga, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Beauregard will head out on the road to face off against Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notasulga, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Maplesville at 5:00 p.m.
