Denver Waldorf came into Friday's game looking for another win against Union Colony Prep, but Tanner Sarchet wouldn't allow it. The Timberwolves snuck past the Spartans with a 64-58 win on Friday thanks in part to Sarchet, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 26 points and 15 boards. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Pablo Mendoza-Munoz, who posted four points in addition to 18 rebounds and three blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last ten games he's played dating back to last season.

Loss or not, Denver Waldorf got some senior leadership from Henry Lottridge and Cayden Quinn. Lottridge shot 64% from the field en route to 21 points, while Quinn scored 14 points and six assists. Siddig Yosif was another key player, putting up six points.

Union Colony Prep's record is now 3-1. As for Denver Waldorf, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Union Colony Prep has already played their next matchup, a 63-36 defeat against Prairie on the 13th. As for Denver Waldorf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-20 victory against Lone Star on the 13th.
