Basketball Recap: Rudder Skates Past Brenham with Ease

Rudder had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 56-27 win over the Brenham Cubs. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Brenham still got an impressive performance from Antyianna Lang, who posted 12 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Lang is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalaya Hancock, who scored seven points.

The victory got Rudder back to even at 11-11. As for Brenham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.

Rudder will square off against Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brenham, they will face off against Lake Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
