Meanwhile, East Hamilton was able to grind out a solid victory over Ardmore on Friday, taking the game 11-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.
The team relied heavily on Jada Rutley, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Bailey Poschke, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Soddy Daisy's record is now 14-10-1. As for East Hamilton, their record now sits at 7-4.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Soddy Daisy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like East Hamilton struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Soddy Daisy beat East Hamilton 5-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
