The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lapeer East, who took down 223rd ranked Brandon, 23-19.
Fenton added to the longest winning streak in Flint Metro this week by beating Clio, 24-8. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Brendon Fitch threw for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 15-38 with 1 interception.
Brandyn Matte was the best wideout in the league this week as Swartz Creek fell to Glenn. Matte racked up 7 receptions for 140 yards. Jacob Littles helped Swartz Creek's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 78 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Dragons' Fitch and Matte have proven to be a lethal combination. Fitch has thrown for 1,312 yards this season, while Matte has 20 catches for 423 yards. Matt Sears from the Blackhawks leads the league in rushing with 348 yards.
The Eagles are in fifth place, while Fenton is in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lapeer East takes on Jeff Setzke's team. Jake Weingartz's team has allowed 72 points this season, while the Tigers have given up 57.
Lapeer West moved up to 111 from 144 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Flint Metro. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Linden 33-11.
