The East Chapel Hill Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Northern Durham with a sharp 64-40 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as East Chapel Hill also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Abigail Stone continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Lauren Steiner, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Northern Durham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Lynch, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lynch has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Holden, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Chapel Hill will take on Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northern Durham, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Halifax County at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th.
