After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Indianapolis Kings, Greenwood Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Herron Achaeans with a sharp 17-1 win. The match marked the Cougars' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Ryder Knox looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Eli Jackson was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Hudson Haltom was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Greenwood Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Greenwood Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Herron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
